I have over 16 years experience as a personal trainer and strength coach. I have been in fitness all my life and before getting into coaching I was a natural competitive bodybuilder. As a body builder I was being asked all the if I could help people reach their fitness goals. That helped me take that first step into coaching. What took things to the next level for me, was when my daughter started to get into athletics I started coaching some of her teams. It was at that time I saw a need for some type of strength program for the girls I was coaching. That led me to get certified as a personal trainer, which led me to go back to school and earn my bachelors degree in exercise science. I was a personal trainer during the day and a strength coach at a local high school during the evening. Through those years a I learned a lot about injury prevention and injury recovery. After relocating to Florida a few years ago, my in person coaching demographic changed to older clientele. I was apply to apply what I’ve learned through the years to help retirees stay active and be able to enjoy more of their free time. I have helped many clients prepare for hip and knee replacement surgeries, as well as post surgery rehab. Also, I have had lumbar surgery, and through that process I have gained extensive knowledge of lumbar spine pain, cause and recovery. To finish, as a coach, I am not a rep counter.
