We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, participate in activities on the Services (such as forums, contests) or otherwise contact us. Genie AI Chat — third-party AI service (Google Gemini)
Important: Genie AI Chat is powered by Google Gemini, a third-party AI service provided by Google LLC. Please read this section carefully before using Genie AI Chat.
What is Genie AI Chat?
Genie is a personalised wellness assistant within the Unlimitr App. It provides diet suggestions, meal plans, and health tips tailored to your profile. Genie’s responses are generated by Google Gemini, a large language model developed and operated by Google LLC.
Data sent to Google Gemini
When you send a message to Genie AI Chat, the following data is transmitted to Google LLC’s Gemini API to generate a personalised response:
- Your diet preferences and food restrictions
- Your health and weight goals
- Your target and current weight
- Your meal queries and chat messages
We do NOT send the following sensitive health data to Google Gemini:
- Blood pressure readings
- Blood glucose readings
- Heart rate data
- Any raw Apple Health / HealthKit data
Who receives your data
Third-party AI provider: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

User consent
Before your first Genie AI Chat session, the App displays a one-time consent disclosure that:
- Identifies Google Gemini (Google LLC) as the AI service
- Lists exactly what data will be sent
- Confirms what data will NOT be sent
- Links to both Google’s and Unlimitr’s Privacy Policy
By tapping “I understand & agree”, you provide explicit consent for your data to be sent to Google Gemini for the purpose of generating personalised responses. You may decline, in which case Genie AI Chat will not be available to you, but all other App features remain accessible.
Purpose and legal basis
The data transmitted to Google Gemini is used solely to generate personalised wellness responses within the App. We rely on your explicit consent (obtained through the in-app disclosure) as the legal basis for this processing.
Genie AI disclaimer
Responses generated by Genie AI Chat are for informational and wellness purposes only. They are not intended as medical advice and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical consultation, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:
Google Gemini (Genie AI Chat)
When you use Genie AI Chat and provide consent as described in Genie AI Chat — third-party AI service (Google Gemini), the categories of data listed in that section are transmitted to Google LLC’s Gemini API for the purpose of generating responses. We do not transmit the sensitive HealthKit categories listed there as “not sent” to Google Gemini.
